The results of your diagnostic testing will be discussed with you by your physician in detail by the end of your appointment. Your executive physical will include tests and examinations to address your specific needs and concerns.
It is to your advantage to schedule at least two weeks in advance of your appointment. This will allow sufficient time to coordinate all the services that you would like to receive on the day of your executive physical. Prior to your arrival, we will provide you with estimated start and end times via a detailed itinerary.
Please plan to spend about four hours with us for a typical executive physical. You and your UM physician will review your results at the end of your visit, and you will receive a printed copy of your records with personalized recommendations. The executive physical is not billable to insurance and must be paid prior to receiving services unless your employer has created a guarantor account with University of Miami.
For further medical services, specialist consultations and most testing, University of Miami accepts a variety of managed care, PPO and POS insurance plans. A questionnaire will be provided to the patient before their visit date requesting any previous medical facilities they have been seen.
