This is a remake of the original Road Rash from the early nineties. I have to start by saying that Road Rash 3 is a fantastic game, but for me, it is the second game where this series really peaked. That perhaps is a reason why more people fondly remember the second game than this one? Still, this is a damn fine game and one I had a lot of fun with back in the day and again recently as I played it. Road Rash 3 features many different locations for you to race in. You will need to take part in multiple races and you must finish in the top three in order to advance forward.

It sounds basic stuff, but the game does have a few tricks up its sleeve to keep things interesting. Road Rash allowed us to take part in motorbike races with rather loose rules, being able to know down our rivals by kicking them or punching them if we deemed it appropriate.

The game took place on the typical Californian bidirectional road in which we had to worry about overtaking our rivals and also dodging the traffic by racing past it or avoiding it if it was heading towards us, in order to not end up on the ground. In fact, it was an advance in playability and graphics to what we saw a bit later in the first Need For Speed installment, the car racing game that definitely doesn't need any kind of introduction.
