Cannot load jdbc driver class org apache derby jdbc clientdriver

Has anyone find a solution for this problem. I am taking the MulesoftU course that started in October this year and I am using the Students files released in August My Derby Database Connector is showing exactly the same error and I do have the file derbyclient Week 2: " Optional Connecting to a local database" into the video. Make sure you have the local training services running:. Saving the DB config, then editing it from the Global Mule Configuration Elements window to add the Spring bean and connection properties worked.

Here is what a working Derby Global Configuration Element looks like. These config lines are there also.. I have imported the derbyclient jar file into the project and I have added the jar file to the build path. Now I'm able to see the jar file in Reference Library. In the next step creating of global elements configuration as said in the training video I cannot find the Derby Configuration.

If anyone faced this problem and got resolved, can please share what steps need to be taken to resolve this issue. For me the problem was caused by my mistake, when adding derby jar to reference libraries I chose to link jar files except to copy jar files, to fix the issue I removed jar from Build path and added it again but this time by choosing "copy jar files".

Hope this will help someone ;. Class [org. ClientDriver] not found Exception [duplicate] Ask Question. Asked 6 years, 9 months ago. Active 6 years, 9 months ago. Viewed 5k times.
